Our strength and conditioning programming focuses on quality over quantity or volume. Meaning training isn’t exercise, but a practice. A skill that must cultivated. The initial strength training program introduces the student to both ballistic movements and grinds. Effective strength and conditioning training which allows you to maintain enough “gas in the tank” to focus on your skill training, performance of your duties (military/police, etc.), or just live your life. Reaping benefits of gains without the loss of time or energy.
Redpoint’s training utilizes Russian kettlebells introduced and popularized in the west by Pavel Tsatouline, former military Instructor of Spetznas and Master of Sports in the former Soviet Union. His organization, Strongfirst is widely known for being the gold standard of not only kettlebell training, but also known for both barbell and body weight training. The motto; “above all things, strength first”.
The training is rooted deep into the philosophy of strength and conditioning research within both the U.S. and Soviet Union decades ago, targeting top tier athletes and the military.
We initially focus on six foundational movements. The Swing, Getup, Clean, Press, Snatch and Squat. The result is explosive strength, shoulder stability and articulation, and increased cardio output. Simply put, greater strength to weight ratios. Our training is scalable from young adults to seniors.
