Scott served in the USAF, USMC, and United States Antarctic Program. After completing a career spanning twenty-two years, Scott founded Redpoint Training-performance cooperative. He has been involved in varied leisurely pursuits such as backcountry skiing, ice climbing, mountaineering, archery, close-combat training, powerlifting, and trail-running (Jack of all trades-master of none).
The one thing he found was that all these pursuits had a commonality, and that was if one could apply certain principles, he or she would separate themselves from the “rank and file” of each discipline. The ability to adapt and comply to movement principles can and will set you above the rest.
The truth is, the passion was always in the training. The event was a byproduct. After retiring, Scott spent most of his time training and chasing some of the best pioneers and coaches on the planet. He is continually learning and associating himself with those pioneers.
Scott believes the human body is an amazing creation. The potential for impressive improvement is endless. This is not only for the athlete, but for the everyday person as well.
